Rethinking bus shelters, for a better transit experience.

LOG is a forward-looking proposal for public transport networks that aims to revisit the conventional architecture of bus shelters.

Mandate

A more human dimension of use has led us to an arrangement of circular arcs which has the advantage of offering a safe, comfortable and reassuring privacy zone for short occupations. The rotation on the axis of the walls allows the product to be configured during installation according to the location and the
wind corridors.

Inspired by maritime lighthouses, the product optimizes visibility and facilitates understanding of the network as a whole.

The mast is made up of a set of sections called “rings”. They are attached to a singular assembly without hardware that extends over the entire height. This feature facilitates the rapid installation of all components over 360 degrees while allowing the structure to be adapted to the allocated space depending on the neighbourhood, sidewalks and crowds.

From smallest to biggest configuration, the mast marks the station’s location at all times. Like the flickering of a lighthouse on the horizon, the luminous part at the end increases visibility while informing in the distance of the presence of an imminent bus.
